PSC#38- Faerie Kingdom

Hi Blog Friends!

I am participating in the  Poppy Stamps Challenge #38- Faerie Kingdom.
Found here:

I am slow at getting here, but here I am! LOL
I pulled out my Faerie Dies & began to play today....
I've had this idea in my head since I saw this challenge---
A Faerie fluttering about the Christmas Tree boughs...
The colored lights aglow & of course, where ever the Faerie goes, she leaves shimmer....

So, here is my card,
A Magical Christmas
I used Kuretake Water Colors & the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors & Pearl Colors.
I just kept layering & swirling the colors on Strathemore Water Color Paper & letting them bleed together to make the trails of the Faerie in the glow of the colored lights....

The Faerie is Poppy Stamps- Poised Faerie
She is layered up first in black & then a vellum layer.

Here you can see a close-up.
I dressed her in Stickles Glitter Glue.

See her shimmering trails?

For the inside:
I used the Poppy Stamps- Fairy Greetings, CL452.

Just a fun, artsy type of card!
Hope you like!

****UPDATE: This card was chosen "Favorites of the week ending Dec. 2nd," on SCS!****

Do you have Faeries in your tree?
