Gnome Pile

Hi Blog Friends!

I have another fun Gnome Card for you today!
Can you guess WHO will be receiving this one? LOL

I had to get more of these cute Gnomes from
 Stampingbella-Gnome Pile.

Take a look:
I had to make a special envelope for this one too,
so my recipient would get a glimpse of the cuteness inside.
For my card, I stamped the image & then drew in the background & the tree with pencil first,
& then went over them with a Kuretake Millenium Collection Pen.
The only other stamped images are the dandelions, which are by
MaMa Elephant- Dandelion Wishes;
And one little mushroom which I had in my stash already die cut is by:
Poppy Stamps- Mushrooms & Toadstools.
The little die cut Butterflies are by:
SU- Beautiful Wings Embosslits.

I did all this on Strathmore Bristol Smooth Paper.
I formed a frame with PTI-Mix & Mat Snowflakes Dies & did the scene inside that boundary.

I colored the images on my card with Spectrum Noir Markers.
The envelope is colored with Faber Castel- Colored Pencils.

I added the card front to a card base & added a few little butterflies- SU-Beautiful Wings Embosslits, & Darice- Iridescent White Sequins.

I made a banner to go across the top of the card with the accompanying sentiment, which I heat embossed in white embossing powder- Zing.

Such a FUN CARD!
Again, with this Gnome Card I left it blank for the recipient to send to a friend if she wants to.

Be Still & Know...

Hi Blog Friends!

Today, I'm showing you something from a NEW stamp company, in case you haven't heard!
by: Betsy Veldman

I have loved Betsy's designs from when I first discovered her work,
& she didn't disappoint with her new company.
If you haven't visited or heard of her new store, you can find it here:

Here's what I made:
I made two for a couple of ladies I know....

They're both the same, just a touch of color difference.
I was having a fun time picking colors from my Oxide Inks to get a realistic look & creating these.

Just check on-line to find a selection to reference.

I used The Greetery- Terrarium Dies- Large, & cut out the terrariums from Recollections Foiled Paper.
I cut two of them & glued them together, for stability since my foiled paper was kind of thin,
& I glued acetate to the back.

Here's the inside:
You can see the color differences here.
I used The Greetery- Botani Cuts Succulents Dies to make these.
They were SO MUCH FUN to make.
I used Strathmore 140 lb. Water Color Paper, sponging on Oxide Inks & spritzing.
Letting the color blend & bleed, & of course you get the water spots! ;)
When you put them together, they just come to life!
I also gave the terrarium a dirt bottom & added water droplets with Nuvo Crystal Drops;
& tied Linen Thread to the top in a bow & a little bit for hanging if the recipient would like to display it that way.
I stamped my sentiment, also one of The Greetery- Comforting Commands,
another reason I LOVE Betsy's designs.
She never fails to bless us with bringing us God's Word in beautiful ways for our cards! <3

This is the back of my Terrarium Cards.
I just finished the sentiment on the back, &  had a bit of space for a short & sweet note too.

I think these little Terrarium Dies will be a staple for the floral's that Betsy comes out with in the future!  Can't wait to see what else she comes up with for us!
Betsy is so creative!
Betsy had so many other things for us, you'll HAVE TO go over & take a look!

What are YOU creating?
Leave me a comment & I'll come over & visit!

A Woman is Like....

Hi Blog Friends!

Just a short & sweet post today.

I'm entering this in
SSS Wednesday Challenge:
For A Special Lady
Found here:

SSS Monday Challenge
Happy Hour
(Tea Time IS "Happy Hour" for me!)
Found here:

I have a little card for you today that I adore!
I have been eye-balling this die for sometime, & finally broke down & got it.
You'll see why I liked it so much!

Here is
A Woman is Like....
A little shaped Tea Pot card!
(I love tea pots & have a collection of them!)
This die is from:
MaMa Elephant-Tea Time CC-201.
I think these little tea pots would make wonderful place settings for a tea too!

I used Paper Studio Paper,  DCWV-Pocket Blossom Paper, & Platinum Foiled Paper.
The tea bag tag is from the same die set & the "T" is done with SU Ink,
 & Stampington- AB Seas Alphabet.
I attached the tag with linen thread, under the lid.

For the inside:
I put my card in my Mini Misti to stamp the inside, before I put it together.
I pulled out one of my "old" tea stamps-
Custer's Last Stamp, Inc.- A Woman is like a Tea Bag- FD 100-J.
Yes, it is a wood block stamp, but I have found that stamping my cards with wood block stamps in my Misti (any size), give me a better impression! ;)
I thought this sentiment was perfect to go with this little tea pot,
& an encouraging sentiment to the two special women I had in mind to send these to!
I told you, short & sweet!
Hope you like!

One lump or two?

Supplies not mentioned above:
*SSS-Premium Blk. Ink
*SU- 1/8" Hand Held Punch
*Scotch Tacky Glue

Hello Friend!

Hi Blog Friends!

I thought I 'd show you what I made for a dear friend, using
Amazing Paper Grace- April Die of the Month 2019,
"Elegant Swivel & Sashay Die."
That's a mouth full! LOL
This die is for an A2 Size card, which makes me very happy.

Take a look:

This is the outside.

I'm not going to go into how I did this, as
Becca Feeken  has tutorials on-line for this!
Short & sweet today. ;)

Open it up:

A pop-up card!

Here you can see a bit of the mechanics of this card.

It is a very thick card & would do well with a belly band.
A little bit of  a close-up here.
The ONLY THING I would do different, is NOT add the "Hello" up there on the top,
but add it a little higher.
It isn't as easily closed as that panel catches on it when I close it.
It just needs a bit of help to close.
I didn't want to put the "Hello" on the front, so opted for the inside without realizing... Ack!
Designer paper is a must I think or you make your own! ;)

I looked up after having this post ready to go & there was my other creation with this die! LOL
So, here is a
Christmas Ornament
I made!
It actually POPPED OUT to me as I looked at the dies.

I cut 8 of this half circle die with the middles together,
(It only scores on the one edge),
glued them together,
& then slit the middle half way up on each.

 Slipped them together,
& added little poinsettia flowers with leaves from the same set,
& a rhinestones to the center.

I then pierced a small hole at the top & added SU-Elastic Cording for hanging,
AND lastly, ribbon.

Inky Hugs!
