Fall Leaves

Hi Blog Friends!

Back again today, as I have found a technique tutorial over on SCS,
& wanted to share what I did with it here too! ;)

This was SUCH A FUN technique!
I recently got a new leaf die & it worked SO NICELY with this technique!
 The technique is:
Die Cutting with Napkins.
Here is the tutorial that was shown over on SCS for us to follow:
I'm SURE you will find it as inspiring as I did.
Especially, if you love water color like I do!
Just listen to the little tips Dave gives, as it will greatly help in achieving your goals!

I will be linking this up to
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog
Fall/Autumn Colors

Found here:

So, here's what I made:

This is the first card I made.
(Although, I had two cards in mind as soon as I started die cutting the leaves,
I did all of the leaves at once, die cutting & painting.)

I chose to do this card in traditional fall colors.

Did I tell you? I really enjoyed this technique.

The gold paint just makes these leaves pop!

This card was made with:
*Rubbernecker Stamps- 3 Maple Leaves Die- 5215D
*Kuretake Gansai Tambi Water Colors
*Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Colors
*SB-Classic Scallop Circle Dies
*SB- Copper Foil
*SB- Sunset Harvest (Glimmer Kit of the Month- Oct. 2019) For my sentiment
*28 Lilac Lane- Safari Sunrise- LL502
*Recollections- Washi Tape

For my next card, I did a Laura Bassen thing & went rainbow! ;)
Just for something different!
Again, the gold paint just makes these leaves come alive!

I used the following on this card:
(These are the only differences from my first card)
*SB- Everyday Sentiments II-
*SB- Gold Foil
*28 Lilac Lane Sequins-
 Bold & Bright- LL304
  Redwood Grove
Denim Blue- LL306
Safari Sunrise-LL502
Yellow & Orange-LL305
Mixed Berry- LL313
* Craft Medley Creative Essentials Sequins-
 Go Green
Red Hots
At The Ballet

Which do you like the best?
I can't choose! LOL
That last little leaf laying there, will go on a technique card that I will file!

The Most Beautiful View

Hi Blog Friends!

Today, I have a card for you that I think you'll like!

I used the
Amazing Paper Grace
Die of the Month- October 2019 Die- One Kind Word Alphabet Collage!

It's been sitting here waiting for me to use & I needed an Anniversary Card!
All the work on the Baby Gifts I did on my last post had me hopping to get this card done,
& another card that I needed!
This die  made my card easy to do!

So, here's what I made:

The Most Beautiful View
During the last SSS-Stamptember, I did have a few moments one evening to just sit & color....
I used Waffle Flower- Bouquet Builder-271262 & stamped it on Gray Sketch Paper & colored it in with Prisma Colored Pencils.
I die cut it with the coordinating dies & also cut out additional die pieces to glue on the back to give the sketch paper more stability, then it sat in a bowl I keep on my desk until now.

I rummaged through my stash of paper for some pretty designer paper;
I chose Recollections- Everyday Moments Stack.
Something that would coordinate well with my bouquet.

The framed portion of my card was popped up on Scotch Perm. Mounting Tape.
Then I did paper inlay on the center sections, including those little loops on the die.

Next, I laid my bouquet where I wanted it & made pencil marks where I wanted to cut off the extending portions. I wanted my bouquet framed in. The bouquet is popped up on Scotch Perm. Mounting Tape, flush with the frame.

I stamped the "Anniversary" sentiment from Stampington- Petite Greetings- G1071
  in my Original Misti.
Next, I die cut the Alphabets from the APG Die of the Month from Gold Foil-Recollections
& popped the banner up on Scotch Perm. Mounting Tape also.

I added 28 Lilac Lane Sequins- Safari Sunrise- LL502 & Cartwrights- Moonshine 3mm with my Crystal Katana & Golden Gel Matte Medium.

This is the inside.
I had a left over flower & some leaves, & arranged them & adhered them.
The sentiment is from Fiskars- Lasting Love Quotes.

My card is 5" x 7".

I have another card to show you done with this die, so be watching for that!

Hope you like!

Supplies not mentioned above:
* Card Stock- Paper Studio & Recollections
*White Signo Pen
*Scotch Tacky Glue
*SSS- Blk. Prem. Dye Ink
*SB- Tool-n-One
*Bead Smith- Magical Tray
*Scotch ATG

Elegance Meets Cute!

Hi Blog Friends!

Well, do I have a post for you today!
Grab your cup of tea/coffee & sit back & enjoy!
Elegance Meets Cute

So, as soon as I heard another baby was expected by one of our son's friends,
I began work on a Pink Sweater Set.
Which is my standard baby gift.
The baby being expected just after Christmas will need something cozy to keep her warm for sure!

I set it aside when done & kind of forgot about it all, with other things taking priority.
THEN, came the announcement of when the shower would be,
& that is when I put on my "got to get it done hat!" LOL

I started with the baby card first:
I LOVE bunnies for baby gifts & these little sweeties just stole my heart when I saw them over on Ma Ma Elephant!
I used:
Ma Ma Elephant- Wish Upon a Star, Hippity Hop, Snow Flurries, & Land Scape Trio,
 Stamps & Dies;
along with Spellbinders- Grand Cabinet 3D Card Die.
Elegance & Cute meet!;)
I also used Tim Holtz- 660227 for the Tiny Quilled Roses.

Here are some close-ups of this little heavenly scene....

Here is the back.
I used ODB/DD-Precious Boy Stamp Set for my sentiment.

Next up were the tags that I needed for everything....

Betsy Veldman over on The Greetery- has come out with her Christmas Release....
My tags were done with her Speed Tagging Stamps & Dies!
I was able to whip out this set of tags in NO TIME AT ALL!
SO MUCH FUN & I look forward to making Christmas Tags SOON!

I didn't stamp the back on every tag.
I also wanted to use the tags as decoration for my gifts too.

Next up:
I created a little Baby's First Christmas Ornament.
The baby isn't due till after Christmas, but you never know....
I used SSS- Plush Carrot Bunny S359.

I also made a little box to hold the ornament.
I used SB- Mini Card/Booklet Gift Box
& SB-Glimmer Kit of the Month-Sept. 2019- Brilliant Corners & More.
I did foil the top piece in SB-Pink Foil, & for the rest of the box, I used the plates for embossing.
I also used Ma Ma Elephant- Snow Flurries & Tim Holtz-660227 Tiny Quilled Roses.

The bunny didn't quite fill up the box, so I added something else!
I made one of these AGES AGO for another baby gift & everyone loved it,
so I thought I'd do another.

It's a
One Page Mini Book.
Take a look:
This is the front, untied.
Again, Ma Ma Elephant- Snow Flurries Dies.

Each scene is on 4 panels of this little book.
There are a total of 16 panels.
(You could do each panel differently if you chose.)
Of course, the little bunnies are by Ma Ma Elephant.
The sentiment is by Inkadinkado- 96303-K.
I also created a little felt heart for texture- made with Poppy Stamps Little Heart Banner-1999.

The sentiment here is by SU- Sweet Thing.
I popped up some of the bunnies, clouds etc., on Uline Foam Tape
throughout, for a little surprise dimension.

The bunnies on this page & the sentiment are also from Ma Ma Elephant- Snow Angels,
& the little trees are by I.O.-Evergreen Trees-DIE217-E.

This is the last page, again Ma Ma Elephant- Wish Upon a Star & Hippity Hop.

Here's a photo of the book all stretched out.

This is the back.

A couple views from the top.

On each of the pages that fold in, I drew little arrows for the direction the page is to turn
 to close the book.

This is a view from the top with the pages turned in;
once turned in, the little book folds up as an accordion.

And tied with a bow to hold it shut.
I thought a little tag was appropriate here too! ;)
The sentiment is by SU- Sweet Thing.

Next up were the little bunny toys, made the right size for baby's little hands.
They needed a little Speed Tag too! ;)

Tagging my Baby Sweater Set, I added the washing instructions on the back,
& extra yarn, just in case...
Those are from PTI- Thread Card Die & Hanging by a Thread Stamp Set,
along with Handle With Care Stamp Set.
***Tip: Wrap your home made knits with tissue paper, inside & out to keep creases away!***

A few store bought items & one of my Speed Tags for decoration!

A Ribbon & another Speed Tag,
& a Clear Box to keep my "Elegance Meets Cute" protected,
 yet able to be seen.
It's like a cake topper, set right in the top of my gift bag!

A Gift Bag & the main Speed Tag for the outside.

You CAN mix styles!;)
