On The Farm!

Hi Blog Friends!

Popping in here for another card for you today!
I have a deadline to meet! LOL
I was waiting for my order to come in from I.O. & it came,

So, what kind of things do you find on a farm????
How about an OUT-HOUSE???

The image I chose fit SO WELL for us, as we JUST put in an out-house!
Here is our out-house:
I stenciled a rooster on the door just today.

Here's a side view.
I have yet to make curtains for it, so I'm saving the inside for another day, & you will probably see more I.O. stamps being used inside, if all goes as planned! ;)

Now to my card:
On The Farm
I thought this Outhouse image was PERFECT for what was going on here....
I.O.-Outhouse- K1024.
(I.O. actually has several fun Outhouse images to choose from!)
I tried to mimic what our outhouse looked like on my card.

I am also using my card for the SCS- WCW002- where we are to use Dye Ink,
& trying wet on wet & glazing techniques.
Each were used on my card.

I used I.O.- Cover-a-Card- Wooden Plank for the wood card base--
SU-Ink on Kraft Card Stock.
So easy!

I also added:
I.O.- Roosters & Chickens DIE273-2 for one of my embellishments, &
I.O.- Instant Photo Frame Die-DIE175-W in the upper left corner for the other embellishment.
You can find BOTH outhouses & chickens on a farm.
We have BOTH! LOL
Here is the inside of my card:
I thought this sentiment SO FIT the image on my card!
"Just sittin' here thinkin' about you."
I.O.- Sittin' Here- B1233
HOPE you like!

  1. Fun card to resemble your outhouse!!!!

  2. This is such a fun farm outhouse card. Your coloring is wonderful, as always and I especially love the silhouette of the rooster.

  3. Well, isn't this a hoot! I love your out-house! It looks a lot better than the one I used at my Grandparents house! I also like the fact that you stenciled a rooster on the door instead of the typical slice of moon. I like your card with all the great embellishments especially the chickens. My daughter just got a goat and is looking to get some chickens and I am looking forward to getting some eggs!! I can hardly wait to see what you do with the inside!

  4. Oh my goodness - the outhouse is ADORABLE . . .the real life one AND the card! adorable! :)

  5. Oh, how fun! I love your outhouse and your outhouse card! Curtains will be such a fun touch to your outhouse. The card is colored beautifully! Thanks for joining us for the Impression Obsession Challenge!

  6. Stop the clock RIGHT here! Oh my goodness, this is the cutest card EVER!!! What a beautiful outhouse - wow, that looks amazing and Im' sure your curtains are going to be wonderful and I look forward to seeing the inside, too! Your card is just amazing and a perfect card for the challenge - and how amazing they had just the stamp to match your 'real life joy!" Love this! Hugs!

  7. Too fun! You really put in outhouse in - that is amazing and fun, and may come in useful one day with all that is going on! GREAT card, sooooo fun! I so wish I had known about that IO challenge! I just bought a bunch of farm images from them! Fun stuff! Hugz

  8. You have the prettiest outhouse I have ever seen, Becky, and your card is pretty dang cute, too!! How awesome!!

Thank you for stopping by, I enjoy hearing from you & hope to see you again soon!
